Welcome!

The AJCO, under the leadership of director Georgia Ekonomou, is a 50 piece String Orchestra composed of the top 6th-9th grade musicians in the Atlanta area.  Now in its eighth season, the orchestra has received recognition for its musical excellence, and provides an exciting opportunity for young musicians.  Students benefit from weekly rehearsals, which include sectionals with professional musicians in the Atlanta area.  The orchestra performs with the Emory Youth Symphony Orchestra at the Schwartz Center for the Performing Arts, Emory University.
